The widebeam narrowboat Blackjack was the only the floating hairdresser’s salon to take part in the Queen’s Jubilee pageant on the Thames on June 3rd. The Floating Salon, which has spent several seasons on the K&A, is run by Nicola, a former West End hairdresser. Nicola’s partner Mike is a marine electrician.
