The next Kennet and Avon User Group Meeting will take place on Thursday 20 October 2011 at 7pm to 9pm at the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust Offices, The Wharf, Devizes SN10 1EB. It is a public meeting and all users of the canal can attend. Items to be considered for the Agenda may be sent to: British Waterways, Bath Road, Devizes SN10 1QR or emailed to enquiries.kennetavon@britishwaterways.co.uk clearly marked “Agenda”.
This is an opportunity to raise issues which you think BW should deal with, especially local problems, whether about the condition of the waterway or about unlawful enforcement and harassment of liveaboards. It can also be a chance to give praise where it’s due – maybe you’ve been helped by BW’s on-call or maintenance staff and you think they should have a proper pay rise this year, for instance.
