Query regarding the consultation response form
I initially I would like to comment of the complexity of both the consultation document and the attached response form.
I think the failure to break these documents down into easily understandable information and instructions will exclude many waterway users from responding to the consultation. I believe that this may lead to those who object to the proposals being under-represented in the final analysis. This of course will make any decision to proceed with these proposals highly suspect.
Please can you email me to confirm whether you will accept responses in other forms i.e. in letter form rather than simply just on your form.
I believe that this will in a small way ‘enable’ those who want to respond although of course the problem of the virtual impenetrability of the consultation document itself will remain.
