Free basic boat engine maintenance class 5th December, Pewsey

The Floaty Boat Fund is running a free Basic Boat Engine Maintenance class on Thursday 5th December 2019 at 3pm to 5pm at Rushall Organics near Pewsey.

The class will be given by Dan Hollands. The Floaty Boat Fund says: “Learn how to do the basics to keep your engine in shape before winter. It’s all about building your own knowledge and confidence in a small group. It’ll be informal and Dan can tailor the advice to your engine. Learn the confidence to know how to do the basics to keep your engine in good nick and

  • Better understand your engine
  • Learn and practice an engine service
  • Understand the Boat Safety Scheme engine requirements

The class will be a small and informal environment to ask questions and get your hands dirty. Everyone is welcome and no prior knowledge is needed. Places are limited so please email floatyboatfund@gmail.com to reserve your place with your name, telephone number, engine type, make and model if known, and whether you are able to offer others a lift.

The Floaty Boat Fund believes that money should never be the barrier to knowledge and skills. We are small and ambitious and rely on donations to grow so have suggested a £5 anonymous contribution for the workshop for those able to do so”.
