Register by 18th June if you want to vote in the General Election on 4th July and bring PHOTO ID to vote

The General Election will take place on Thursday 4th July, and the polls will be open from 7am – 10pm. Register by 18th June if you want to vote.

You can vote even if you live on a boat without a fixed address, by declaring a “local connection” to the place you are currently moored in or spend a lot of your time in. If you have a “care of” address, you do not have to use that address to register to vote. You need photo ID to vote – see below.

New NBTA K&A branch first meeting Monday 3rd June

A new branch of the National Bargee Travellers Association (NBTA) is forming on the Kennet & Avon Canal! The first branch meeting will take place online on Monday 3rd June 2024 at 7pm. Come to the meeting to discuss and plan actions and support for liveaboard boaters locally!
