The sanitary station below Aldermaston lock is to re-open on 1st March 2017 according to CRT. The facilities and toilet block was closed in July 2015 as a cost saving measure by West Berkshire Council who ran the facility. This is a welcome development given the shortage of facilities on the eastern end of the K&A.
