Boat Fire Safety Talk, Pewsey Wharf, 14th March

There will be a boat fire safety talk by Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service on Tuesday 14th March 2017 at 7.30pm at the Waterfront, Pewsey Wharf SN9 5NU.

According to the Fire Service, a massive 28% of boat fires cause fatalities. Don’t let this happen to you, come and find out how to prevent fire hazards on your boat. There will be FREE smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms, together with comprehensive advice on how to make your boat as fire safe as possible and what to do in case of fire.

This is the last boat fire safety talk of this winter, organised by Julian House Travelling Communities Support Service in conjunction with Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service. The Fire Service will continue to offer fire safety advice on the towpath or you can request a free boat fire safety visit.

You can contact the Travelling Communities Support Service on 07960 097719 or email samw@julianhouse.org.uk or lindsayh@julianhouse.org.uk
