Liveaboard boaters on the K&A are to hold an information and campaign stall in Lamb Yard, Bradford on Avon BA15 1FG on Saturday 18th March 2017 from 10am to 4pm.
The stall will include posters, leaflets and information for the public, together with copies of the Boats Are Homes petition for people to sign. The purpose is to raise public awareness of the effects of CRT’s punitive and unlawful enforcement policy against boat dwellers without home moorings.
This follows a successful day when a group of 14 boaters leafleted the public during the CRT open day at Bradford lock on 26th February, where over 100 people signed the petition.
We need a few more boaters to help with this stall, especially in the morning. If you would like to help, please contact 07928 078208 or info@boatingcommunity.org.uk and let us know what time you are available.
