Lady Boater: Ha, ha! Tough luck, i’m not moving until six months and a court order!
Simon Salem: Are you drinking all my orange juice?
Lady Boater: Would you like to speak to my Human Rights lawyer? And do you have any mince pies?
Salem: I feel sick.
Boater: I thought so – I spiked the punch.
What’s a canal then?
We have received two entries by email so far. The first is unprintable. Here is the second-
Boater: “. so we wanted to ask you about the unlawful BW mooring
policies that you have been working up . ”
Simon Salem: ” (thinks) I wonder if that jumper came from Oxfam or Sue
Ryder.?”
If I win please give the prize to Simon Salem for services rendered to BW in
the pursuit of boaters’ interests on the canal system.
