CRT is holding its 2021 Annual Public meeting online at 2pm on Monday 22nd November 2021. CRT says that it is inviting people to submit questions to be answered in the meeting, which will be a live broadcast on YouTube. You can email questions to annualpublicmeeting@canalrivertrust.org.uk. CRT says “We look forward to hearing from you and answering as many questions/themes as possible during our live broadcast”.
We expect boaters will have a lot of questions for CRT to answer, such as questions about the reversal of a lot of visitor moorings from “14 days in winter” back to 48 hours all year; the need for more facilities on the K&A where large gaps have been created by the removal of facilities at Horton Bridge and Honeystreet in past years; or enforcement of the unlawful 20-mile range requirement for boats without a home mooring.
