The next meeting of the K&A boaters action group will be combined with a Boat Fire Safety talk by Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service on Monday March 14th at 7.30pm at the Golden Swan, Wilcot, near Pewsey, SN9 5NN. A massive 28% of boat fires cause fatalities. Don’t let this happen to you, come and find out how to prevent fire hazards on your boat. There will be free smoke and CO alarms.
The Fire Safety Talk will start at 7.30pm to around 8.45pm and will be followed by the boaters action group meeting.
Please come to the meeting if you need any information about CRT’s policy towards boaters without home moorings or about CRT enforcement letters, texts or emails. The boaters action group aims to defend and promote the boating community on the K&A. It meets on the second Monday of every month in different places along the canal.
