All liveaboard boaters (both with and without moorings) are invited to a focus group to be held by BaNES Council on 11th April. This is part of BaNES Council’s investigation of the needs and difficulties in getting access to services experienced by liveaboard boaters prior to inclusion in the Council’s strategy for travellers and nomadic people. A focus group is a guided discussion to find out more information about a particular matter, usually where individuals have already been interviewed or have provided information. This follows the Council’s call for boat dwellers to send information about their needs and requirements which a number of boaters responded to. The focus group will take place on Thursday 11th April at 12.00 – 13.00 at Northgate House, Upper Borough Walls, Bath BA1 1RG (meeting room 6, 3rd Floor).
