The next meeting of the K&A Boaters’ Action Group will be on Monday 10th February 2020 at 7.30pm in the Snug bar at the Barge Inn, Honeystreet SN9 5PS. All are welcome.
The meeting will focus on what action to take about the ongoing problems with boaters’ facilities at the Bridge Inn, Horton, and Wilcot Parish Council’s new plan for bollards to deal with parking in the lane by the canal. We’ll also pass on any updates about the loss of the moorings at Mead Lane, Saltford for those who relied on using them.
You are welcome to come and raise other boating matters that concern you, or get information or advice about CRT enforcement against boaters without home moorings or any enforcement letters, texts or emails.
The Boaters’ Action Group aims to defend and promote the boating community on the K&A. The group meets every 2 months on the second Monday. Please contact
info@boatingcommunity.org.uk or 07928 078208. We look forward to seeing you on 10th February.
