There will be a Kennet and Avon Canal User Group Forum on Wednesday 5th June 2019 between 6pm and 8pm at St Margaret’s Hall, St Margaret’s Street, Bradford on Avon, BA15 1DE. If you wish to raise any issues about enforcement, waterway maintenance, facilities for boaters or other matters, this meeting is an opportunity to do so. It is an open meeting and all waterway users are entitled to attend.

There will be an emergency meeting at 7pm on Wednesday 26th September 2018 at the Canal Tavern, Bradford on Avon to discuss action following the sinking of a historic wooden narrowboat by a stag party on hire boats from ABC Leisure at the weekend. CRT, hire companies and Wiltshire Council have been invited.

A group of 10 live-aboard boaters cleared around 25 bags of litter from the K&A yesterday (Sunday 11th February). The team picked up rubbish from the towpath, hedges and ditches between Semington and Bradford on Avon Marina. The boaters also removed bulky items such as bicycles and rubble.
