Boat movement and mooring enforcement resumed yesterday 12th April 2021 as the Coronavirus lockdown continued to be eased. CRT has stated that boaters without a home mooring have 14 days from yesterday to move from the place where they were moored during the lockdown, meaning that they need to have moved by 26th April to avoid any enforcement action.

Boat movement could resume on 12th April
Saturday, February 27th, 2021Following the Government’s announcement of a ‘road map’ out of the current Coronavirus lockdown that began on 4th January, CRT has stated that it expects boat movement to remain limited to essential journeys only until 29th March 2021, and only limited local movement until 12th April 2021. Subject to further Government advice, CRT intends to resume enforcement of the 14-day rule from 12th April.
