Aquilon coal boat under new ownership: first delivery run to Bath this Thursday

Aquilon coal and diesel boat has been bought by Sarah and Lee who will be doing their first delivery run this Thursday 4th November between Hilperton and Bath. They will sell coal, diesel, gas, logs and the same stock as Spencer and Victoria used to carry. The new number to order from Aquilon is 07384 507192. Coal boat Aquilon for sale as going concern

The coal boat Aquilon, run by Spencer and Victoria Collins of The Boatyard, Hilperton, is for sale as a going concern after eight years of trading. The boatyard and chandlery will continue trading as normal.

Food, fuel and chandlery during the lockdown

Local liveaboards, waterway businesses and charities have joined together to keep supplies going to boaters during the coronavirus lockdown, including an extension of the Pay It Forward scheme where you can donate to cover the cost of fuel or food for someone who is struggling financially.
