K&A Boaters’ Action Group, 12th August, Honeystreet

The next meeting of the K&A Boaters’ Action Group will be on Monday 12th August 2019 at 7.30pm at the newly-reopened Barge Inn, Honeystreet, SN9 5PS (in the snug bar). All are welcome. The meeting will focus on CRT’s proposals for additional enforcement on the K&A aimed mainly at hire boaters, but which are also likely to impact on liveaboards.

Mikron Theatre show on the K&A this Wednesday 17th July

Richard Thomas appointment backfires: why the regional director left CRT

We now have a clearer picture of why Richard Thomas, Regional Director for Wales and the South West, has left CRT. Sources close to CRT and from the wider community concur in saying that he was difficult to work with, abrasive and unpredictable. It looks as though he left by mutual consent rather than as the result of disciplinary action.

Regional Director Richard Thomas leaves CRT after just one year

A meeting between K&A liveaboard boaters and CRT’s Regional Director Richard Thomas has been cancelled because Mr Thomas “no longer works for the Trust”, it emerged today, 8th July 2019. The meeting was due to take place tomorrow.
