K&A Manager Mark Evans would like to know where and when boaters would like CRT to put a skip for boaters’ larger items of rubbish, such as boat interiors or old deck boards and rubbish collected from towpath tidy days. He will organise for a skip to be delivered to each of these places in turn on a Friday, which will then be collected again on a Monday. Once the dates and locations are known, this would be an opportunity for boaters to organise a towpath tidy in the vicinity if they wish.
Please give Mark your suggestions as to when and where would be best for the first one. This needs to be by an existing service point. If you are going to the K&A Users Forum in Devizes Corn Exchange on Tuesday 24th May it would be another opportunity to discuss this. This is one of the ideas that came out of the meeting between boaters and Mark Evans on 6th January 2016, following boaters’ complaints to Mr Evans that their property had been deemed as rubbish and taken away by his contractors in November last year.
You can contact Mark Evans at this email address: mark.evans@canalrivertrust.org.uk, it is best to copy the email to enquiries.kennetavon@canalrivertrust.org.uk
