The next meeting of the K&A Boaters’ Action Group will be on Monday 9th October 2017 at 7.30pm in the Function Room at the Bell By The Green, Estcourt Street, Devizes SN10 1LQ (next to Morrisons and opposite the Green). All are welcome. The meeting will focus on organising a work party or two to fix a few of the things that most bug liveaboard boaters in winter, like towpaths that turn into swamp. We also aim to organise some towpath litter-picking as we’ve had reports of items being dumped in places. We still have 3 Boat Fire Safety Packs to give away (we can get more if people need them).
The Boaters’ Action Group has a new schedule: meetings are now every 2 months on the second Monday. Next meetings are 11th December 2017 and 12th February 2018. There may be extra meetings if necessary.
Also, please come to the meeting if you need any information about CRT enforcement against boaters without home moorings or if you need advice about CRT enforcement letters, texts or emails.
