The General Election will take place on Thursday 4th July, and the polls will be open from 7am – 10pm. Register by 18th June if you want to vote.
You can vote even if you live on a boat without a fixed address, by declaring a “local connection” to the place you are currently moored in or spend a lot of your time in. If you have a “care of” address, you do not have to use that address to register to vote. You need photo ID to vote – see below.

The Floaty Boat Fund runs the Pay It Forward scheme to provide fuel for liveaboard boaters between Bath and Wootton Rivers who are struggling financially. There will be a Boat Fire and Stove Safety talk tonight, Tuesday 29th October 2019 at 6.30pm at the Lock Inn, Lower Wharf, Bradford on Avon BA15 1LE. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Floaty Boat Fund will be giving out free fire and CO alarms, rope seals and smoke pellets (for testing stoves).
