Radio 4’s Today programme wants to interview a boater on the K&A this week

We have been contacted by a journalist from Radio 4’s Today programme. Producer Emily Knight wants to interview a boater on the K&A this week beginning 29th April 2024. Emily says:

“I’m a radio producer with BBC Radio 4. I’m currently working on a project with The Today Programme, following the river Avon (including all associated waterways), for a year to find out about life on the water, for humans and wildlife. I’d love to make contact with someone who would be happy to tell me about life as a boat dweller, both the joys and the trials of life on the water, and the parts of boat life you think are not very well understood by the wider community. Ideally, if I could come out to visit early this week, be shown around a boat, and then do a quick interview (half an hour max), that would be perfect. It’s just me and a single microphone, no crew! If you might be up for it, do please email Emily.knight@bbc.co.uk or call me on 07411 234966, and we can have a no-obligation chat. Thanks so much.”
