Kennet and Avon Bicentenary Celebrations

Plans are under way for a K&A Bicentennial Celebration run jointly with Bathampton Village. Preliminary date is Sat 17th July. We need art for an exhibition and music for a concert so please get some stuff sorted and see me/ring/mail me in the next few weeks. Also need help with lights and electric and sound and setting up and taking down… if you can help in any way then please let me know… thanks people.

Is the 14 Day Rule is a Misnomer? – A personal view

We have been asked to publish this take on the ’14 day rule’.

Due to our case being founded in part on British Waterways seeking additional powers rather than  enforcing the 14 day stipulation in the 1995 Waterways Act there is some debate amongst boaters on the implications of this piece of law.
