There will be a Boat Fire and Stove Safety talk tonight, Tuesday 29th October 2019 at 6.30pm at the Lock Inn, Lower Wharf, Bradford on Avon BA15 1LE. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Floaty Boat Fund will be giving out free fire and CO alarms, rope seals and smoke pellets (for testing stoves). More Boat Fire and Stove Safety talks are planned.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service will be giving comprehensive advice on how to make your boat as fire safe as possible and what to do in case of fire, including FREE SMOKE DETECTORS AND CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS!!

Outreach boat at Darlington Wharf, 6th March – come and fix your bike with help from Julian House bike workshop
Thursday, March 1st, 2018The Boaters’ Cafe Club outreach boat will be at Darlington Wharf in Bath next Tuesday 6th March 2018 from 12 noon to 4pm (weather permitting). The main attraction is a bicycle repair workshop where Mark, the mechanic from Julian House Community Bicycle Workshop will help and provide tools for you to fix your bike and teach you some bike repair skills. Also Claire Brown will be aboard conducting a yarn-bombing session.
Darlington Wharf bin compound did not have planning consent says K&A manager – but CRT to install bins at Newbury Wharf
Thursday, February 15th, 2018The removal of the bins at Darlington Wharf in Bath a month ago has inconvenienced boaters to such an extent that Julian House Travelling Community Support service met with Bath Waterspace Project Co-ordinator Cleo Newcombe-Jones today (15th February 2018) to discuss rubbish bins and overall facilities provision on the K&A within the BaNES Council area.
