K&A Boaters’ Action Group postponed, watch this space for details of virtual meeting

The K&A Boaters’ Action Group meeting that was scheduled for October has been postponed to December 2020, due to current limits on meetings and pub hours. We intend to hold a virtual meeting shortly. This will be either a phone conference or a Zoom meeting. Please watch this space.

If you need any information or advice about CRT enforcement against boaters without home moorings or any enforcement letters, texts or emails, please contact the Boaters’ Action Group at info@boatingcommunity.org.uk or 07928 078208. Under normal circumstances the group meets in person every 2 months on the second Monday at different places along the K&A. It aims to defend and promote the boating community on the K&A.

K&A Boaters’ Action Group meeting postponed due to coronavirus

The K&A Boaters’ Action Group meeting that was due to take place on 20th April 2020, has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the closure of canalside pubs for the duration of the lockdown. The next Boaters’ Action Group meeting, scheduled for 8th June, may take place depending on the lockdown situation.

Mead Lane: important boaters’ meeting, 28th January, Bathampton

There will be a boaters’ meeting next Tuesday 28th January to discuss what the options are for the liveaboard community now that BaNES Council has voted to remove the only 14-day moorings on the River Avon. The meeting is at 7pm on Tuesday 28th January 2020 at the George Inn, Mill Lane, Bathampton BA2 6TR.
