Tuesday, January 19th, 2016Following the recent fatal boat fire on the K&A, the Fire Service will be giving a series of Boat Fire Safety talks in different places along the canal in the Bath and the Wiltshire areas in the next few weeks. Please come along and make sure your boat is as fire safe as possible. The next talk will be in the Black Horse, Bath Rd, Devizes SN10 2AU on Monday 25th January at 7.30pm. There will be free smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.

Monday, May 18th, 2015Following the tragic death of a boater in a fire on a boat at Hilperton Marsh last November, Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service is once again sending Boat Fire Safety Advisers cycling along the towpath and to marinas offering FREE boat fire safety checks and smoke alarms. May 25th to 31st is Boat Fire Safety Week throughout the country.
