Monday, October 14th, 2019Friends, Families and Travellers (FFT) are carrying out a health survey of liveaboard boaters as part of their campaign to end discrimination in health services. This is the first nationwide health survey of the liveaboard boating community.

The purpose of the re-branding is to raise funds from local authorities and the NHS for the promotion of health and well-being of the general population. However CRT appears to have no intention of safeguarding the well-being of boat dwellers, even vulnerable ones.

Monday, March 12th, 2018Outreach boat at Darlington Wharf, 6th March – come and fix your bike with help from Julian House bike workshop
Thursday, March 1st, 2018The Boaters’ Cafe Club outreach boat will be at Darlington Wharf in Bath next Tuesday 6th March 2018 from 12 noon to 4pm (weather permitting). The main attraction is a bicycle repair workshop where Mark, the mechanic from Julian House Community Bicycle Workshop will help and provide tools for you to fix your bike and teach you some bike repair skills. Also Claire Brown will be aboard conducting a yarn-bombing session.

Sunday, December 3rd, 2017The Boaters’ Cafe Club outreach boat Litania will be at Bathampton Wharf next Tuesday 5th December 2017 from 12 noon to 4pm.
Come and be crafty and make some colourful woolly things to yarnbomb along the canal at a later event in early spring! Clare Brown will be running the workshop, aimed at liveaboard boaters who would like support with wellbeing and mindfulness.
