There will be live music at the Crown Inn, Bishops Cannings from 2pm on Saturday 27th August. Entry is free of charge. The Crown is a short walk from the canal across the swing bridge in Horton, turn left where the track meets the road. Although the festival at the Barge Inn, Honeystreet has been cancelled, there will also be some live music at the pub during the bank holiday weekend.

There will be a family-friendly festive get together for boaters on Saturday 12th December, 3pm-9pm, at the Love Lounge, The Bell Inn, Walcot Street, Bath BA1 5BW. The event will include children’s activities, music, information and discussion about what to do if CRT has refused to renew your boat licence for 12 months. There will be time to socialise and sing a few sea shanties too.

Up The Cut is to make an appearance at the Bath Fringe.On Saturday 8th June, comedian Matt Cranium will be joined by Fullsail Puppet Theatre, folk-rock sea shanty band Calico Jack, Arcc playing a live, improvised, soundtrack to Jean Vigo’s yearning tale of love and boats, L’Atalante, Chardash, and special guests.
