K&A liveaboard boater appointed to CRT advisory group

Sam Worrall, a liveaboard boater without a home mooring on the K&A, has been appointed to CRT’s Navigation Advisory Group (NAG) Licensing and Moorings Sub-Group. Sam is one of Julian House’s two Gypsy, Traveller Boater and Roma Outreach and Engagement Officers.

Short term licence fee climbdown by CRT

Following lobbying by the National Bargee Travellers Association (NBTA), CRT has stated that it will only charge boaters who have been forced to take a 3 or 6 month licence the 12-month fee pro rata instead of the advertised higher relative cost of its shorter licences.

Boater starts petition for better K&A facilities

What to do if CRT refuses to renew your boat licence for 12 months
