The next meeting of the K&A Boaters’ Action Group will be on Monday 12th August 2019 at 7.30pm at the newly-reopened Barge Inn, Honeystreet, SN9 5PS (in the snug bar). All are welcome. The meeting will focus on CRT’s proposals for additional enforcement on the K&A aimed mainly at hire boaters, but which are also likely to impact on liveaboards.

Friday, February 22nd, 2019The River Avon Users Consultative Committee (RAUCC) is to re-launch this month with an amended membership policy which the RUACC says is to ensure that meetings remain manageable and represent a balance of interests. Membership will be restricted to one representative per group or organisation.

Friday, August 24th, 2018The Chief Executive of Wadworths Brewery, Chris Welham, has refused to re-instate the boaters’ rubbish bins at the Bridge Inn, Horton following a complaint. Boaters have now started an online petition calling on both Wadworths and Canal & River Trust to re-instate the bins.
