A Freedom of Information (FOI) request has confirmed the suspicions of many that CRT had not intended to publish the ‘places’ maps in August. Boaters who wanted to find out more were nonplussed by the absence of announcements on the CRT web site.

There will be an open meeting between boaters and CRT Chief Executive Richard Parry on Wednesday 21st May 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at the Corn Exchange, Market Place, Devizes SN10 1HS. All boaters are welcome to attend the meeting. You need to book and print a (free) ticket online using this link

The next Kennet and Avon Canal User Group Meeting will take place this Wednesday 23rd April 2014 at the Corn Exchange, Market Place, Devizes SN10 1HS (beside the Bear Hotel). Doors are open at 6.30 pm and the meeting will take place at 7 pm to 8.30 pm with light refreshments provided.
