Twenty’s plenty for Bradford on Avon

A group of parents is trying to get Wiltshire Council to make the whole of Bradford on Avon a ‘Twenty’s Plenty’ zone because of the very serious traffic problems on the town’s roads. Comments are needed on Wiltshire Council’s 20mph policy by 21st September (that’s tomorrow).

Poste Restante service saved in Bradford on Avon

Save Bradford on Avon Post Office!

The Post Office is proposing to close its branch in The Shambles, Bradford on Avon and replace it with a counter in Budgen’s. This is likely to mean the end of the Poste Restante service that so many boaters rely on to receive mail promptly. There is a consultation by the Post Office that ends on Friday 1st February.
